WHO ARE YOU?

If you are on this website you are probably similar to me (Zach Weaver - G.L. REIA President) 10 years ago.  A professional who is exhausted and exasperated with their W-2 paying day job.  You work for a corporation that treats you as if you are nothing more than a disposable widget, and saddles you with a completely uninspiring boss.  You are concerned that you are wasting the best years of your life trying to make someone else rich.  You don’t want to settle for achieving anything less than your full potential, and you know that you will never achieve that working for the company you are at now.  You might have already changed companies once, only to realize that you are right back in the same place. 

You may be where I was five years ago, having just left your W-2 job and desperately looking to grow your small investment property business.  You are searching for financing and deals, you have some other concerns that come with being on your own.  You need medical insurance, a tax advisor, a lawyer, etc.  Basically, you need a team and Great Lakes REIA is where you will find that team! 

Lastly, you may be far ahead of most and wanting to network with your fellow professional investors.  You want to be active in your industry trade group, as you understand all too well that as a landlord you will be perceived negatively by most government agencies.  You understand the value that we investors add to communities.  You understand that no owner occupant is going to purchase the distressed and dilapidated property down the road, you know that by fixing up that property every home on the street will benefit.  Yet you know the municipality that you operate in will most likely see you as a target to help fill their coffers.  If you want to help advocate for your company and your industry, please join your trade group!
