Zach Weaver is President of Great Lakes REIA. Zach & his family were relocated to Ohio for work in July 2012, they purchased their first Ohio rental property in December of that year. Zach & his wife Parham quickly realized the need to have a solid team in place, and they understood the importance of associating with those in the industry. Zach & Parham joined Great Lakes REIA in November of 2013. Through the knowledge gained by attending meetings and educational seminars Zach was able to leave W-2 employment in May 2016 with 22 rental units. Today, Zach & Parham have over 140 rental units. Zach credits Great Lakes REIA for his success and now runs the group.
Zach holds a degree in Mining and was brought to the Cleveland area to work in the salt mines under Lake Erie. Zach’s real estate education started at the School of Hard Knocks and he has committed to learning the easy way going forward. Zach & Parham lost $42,000 on their first ever rental property. Since joining the Great Lakes REIA their business has been profitable. In 2022 Zach published a book about his journey to financial freedom through real estate investing. The book is about Zach's trials & tribulations during his journey to become self-employed.
