Jeff Firestone has extensive experience serving as an expert witness in fraud and forensic engagements, business disputes, economic damage analyses and calculations, and other litigation support services. He also has experience with fraud deterrence, business valuations, bankruptcy and insolvency matters, due diligence situations, and reports for breach of contract, wrongful death and wrongful termination.
Jeff’s accounting and auditing experience encompasses all aspects of audit, review and compilation engagements, and management of client relationships in the construction, manufacturing, real estate (HUD), small business and not-for-profit sectors.
Jeff has served as a corporate controller, which provided him with experience that included maintaining corporate accounting systems and related internal controls, preparation of monthly financial statements, preparation of monthly/annual tax filings, and supervising accounting departments and human resource functions.
Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Miami University. He is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Construction Financial Management Association.
Outside of the office, Jeff is actively involved in coaching youth sports, serving as the treasurer for youth organizations. He also golfs when he can.
